I was wondering if anyone had read this series? I know a lot of people have been raving about it, and others don't like it at all. One of my colleagues has been telling me how fantastic it is so I bought the first one today to give it a try.

It put my off slightly that it was in the childrens section, but I have read the first chapter and it is OK so far, but I don't really get why everyone's raving about it

I got them for christmas and read them all in about 10 days lol!
I was dubious at first with it being a supposed teen book(s) but I really did enjoy them and the books get better and better with each one. Very hard to put down and they literally sucked me right in... pardon the pun!

I have seen both the movies too but the books are far more superior to the movies although the movies I enjoyed.

I found the first one quite hard going - my sister noticed as I'd taken so long to read it - usually finish a good book within days - the 2nd and 3rd were much better - and the 4th I shall wait till paperback - I prefer the True Blood series

*waits for Liz to ebay them* ;)

I can't see what all the fuss is about, but then I've never been into vampires lol Will check ebay for them once I've finished reading the pile of books next to my bed.

I was sceptical too Linds but I am really enjoying the first book. I have nearly finished it, and I was so absorbed on the way home tonight that I missed my station and ended up 3 stops down the line :emb:

Will finish it tonight no doubt, and be off to buy the rest of the series tomorrow :D

And no, I probably won't be selling them on eBay any time soon, I think I may be reading them again (and again).....

No still only read the first one. Life is so manic at the moment I haven't made it to a book shop since I bought that one! I am feeling an amazon order coming on as there are a couple of DVDs I want too

I think the whole thing is the fact that they cant be togther, Ive only seen the films but found myself getting annoyed at the lack of kissing :D

I much prefere true blood for a more adult theme

i have finally broken down and read them due to a serious lack of reading material and yes they are ok but not raunchy enough for me like more of the "adult" paranormal bookks are :D
